GOOD+ Foundation’s 2017 BASH

Usually I spend Memorial Day weekend close to home, but this year I mixed it up and was in NYC for the 11th Annual GOOD+ Foundation Bash. Founded in 2001 by Jessica Seinfeld (author, philanthropist and wife of Jerry Seinfeld), GOOD+ Foundation partners with a national network of leading programs to break the cycle of family poverty through the power of donated goods and services. They have donated almost 20 million items to a national network of over 100 antipoverty programs. It’s a pretty amazing organization and the Bash is NYC’s largest family fundraiser.

The GOOD+ Foundation wanted to add a little pizzazz to their signage this year asked KJI what we could do to help. Because the event was held at Victorian Gardens, which is essentially a pop-up carnival in Manhattan’s Central Park, we decided to do a carnival themed step and repeat and a festive Snapchat filter for attendees to play with. Both activations featured carnival imagery: popcorn, candy apples, hot dogs, balloon animals, carousels, etc. that allowed a vibrant and on-brand photo sharing experience for guests and celebrities. The step and repeat was a hit, and even got some airtime with Jerry Seinfeld on extraTV!
